Two technical solutions are being progressed in parallel to stop the leak
Two types of action have been identified and are being progressed in parallel to stop the leak. The first is by a well control intervention during which heavy mud is pumped into the G4 well from the wellhead. The second consists of drilling two relief wells in the vicinity of the G4 well to intercept it and pump in heavy mud at the formation level to regain control of the well.
